Beautiful wild boar sculpture representing Varaha (Sanskrit: वराह, Varāha). Varaha is an avatar of the Hindu God Vishnu, in the form of a Wild boar. Varaha is generally listed as third in the Dashavatara, the ten principal avatars of Vishnu.
Vishnu is said to manifest a portion of himself anytime he is needed to fight evil and to protect dharma (moral and religious law).
