Indian Darby Style Screw lock handcuffs. This type of handcuff with the large screw lock was called a Darby pattern and so was called even when made by different companies. It was produced in both the USA and great Britain during the Mid 1800’s until the 1940’s until superseded by handcuffs with actual keys.
The darby style of handcuff would have been used in the American Wild West, WW1 and still by MP’s in WW2. Made of cast steel with 1 screw key.
